Check and manage organisation billing

Billing uses your organisation’s active student seat count. The app calculates this from student assignments. The billing view has no field for entering a desired seat count.

1. Open Billing with management permission.
2. Check active student seats, the yearly total and the highlighted current band under Volume pricing (per student / year).
3. If there is no active subscription, select Subscribe now. This button requires at least one active student seat.
4. Check the amount and payment details with the payment provider before confirming the purchase.
5. Return to billing and check for Pricing Plan active.

Manage an existing payment

With an active pricing plan, Manage payment opens the customer portal. If you see Payment failed - student access paused., select Fix payment and check the payment details there. Return and check the status afterwards.

The payment provider opens in the same browser tab. If the portal or checkout does not open, read the error message. Check the status before attempting another payment.

Understand the volume band

The band reached sets the price for all student seats, rather than only seats above a boundary. Teachers do not count as student seats in this view. Use the currently displayed bands and payment summary rather than a price copied from an old guide.

Student assignment changes can alter the seat count. Check the student list. If billing access is missing, ask your organisation administrator for help.
